Brief: Since February 2020, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strengthened the requirements for motorcycle access, and all motorcycle products entering GCC member states must obtain GCC certificates. In order to facilitate customers to understand the access requirements for motorcycles in the Gulf region, and to be familiar with the certification and factory audit procedures, ATIC has jointly organized an online seminar on motorcycle GCC certification with the Gulf State Standardization Organization (GSO) motorcycle certification department. The meeting invited many motorcycle OEMs such as Haojue, YADEA, NINEBOT, SENKEMOTOR, PIAGGIO, GUANGBEN LOCOMOTIVE, ZHUJIANG etc.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF GSO
The Gulf Cooperration Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC)is the most important political and economic organization in the Gulf region, which is headquartered in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The member states include the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO), whose full name is The Standardization Organization of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) is a Regional Standardization Organization (RSO) established by the resolution of the GCC Supreme Council.
The mission of GSO is to assist GCC to achieve the objectives set forth in its Charter and in the GCC Economic Agreement by unifying the various standardization activities and following up implementation and compliance with the same in cooperation and coordination with the standardization bodies in the Member States (NSBs) to develop the production and service sectors, foster the intra-GCC trade, protect the consumer, environment and the public health, enhance the GCC economy and its competitiveness and meet the requirements of Gulf Custom Union and Gulf Common Market. Until now, all automobiles, motorcycles and tire products entering the Gulf GCC countries need to get the GCC certificate through GSO.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
In this seminar, Mr. Al-Zahrani, the responsible officers of GSO motorcycle certification, explained in detail the certification process of motorcycles in the Gulf region, and provided answers to related questions for participating manufacturers. The conference mainly included the following topics:

3. Pre-epidemic and current factory audit plan
