Telecom SDPPI Certification
The Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) has the task of carrying out the formulation and implementation of policies in the management of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbit as well as standardization of post and information technology equipment in Indonesia. Including:  Formulation of policies in the field of structuring, licensing, monitoring and evaluation, as well as law enforcement in the use of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbit, as well as standardization of post and information technology equipment; Implementing policies in the areas of structuring, licensing, monitoring and evaluation, and law enforcement in the use of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbit, as well as standardization of postal and information technology equipment; Drafting norms, standards, procedures and criteria in the field of supervision of standardization of telecommunication equipments; Providing technical guidance and supervision in the field of supervision of standardization of telecommunication equipments; Conducting evaluation and reporting in the fields of structuring, licensing, monitoring and evaluation, as well as law enforcement in the use of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbit, as well as standardization of postal and information technology equipment, etc. 

To enter Indonesian market, both domestic and import telecommunication products need to apply for SDPPI certification and labelled with certification mark. Typical telecommunication products need SDPPI certification includes Cellular Mobile Devices, Bluetooth, Notebook Computers, Mobile Phones, WLAN, Routers, Radars, TV Boxes, Wireless Phones, Antennas, Cables, etc., with more new regulations, more and more products are included into SDPPI mandatory certification scope.

General Steps
Application
ATIC engineers will support importer / manufacture to prepare application and technical documents
Testing
ATIC engineers will prepare testing plan and testing samples, support manufacture / importer to send samples to designated testing lab and follow up testing
Approval
ATIC engineers will submit application documents, technical documents and testing reports to SDPPI, after review and approval certificate will be issued
Label
Certification marks including certificate number, PLG ID, warning sign, QR code shall be labeled on the product. Generally the certificate is valid for 3 years
