The safety equipment includes driver's equipment, such as the FIA Championship-approved helmet type, the front head restraint system FHR. (Frontal Head Restraint), protective clothing, etc. Certification of safety equipment requires testing at an FIA accredited testing laboratory and then the test report and certification are submitted to the FIA. The application is submitted to the ASN (National Sporting National Authority) of the country where the product is located. (Authority), ASN and then submitted to FIA Security for approval. FIA HOMOLOGATION OF CIRCUIT EQUIPMENT
The drawing of any new circuit wishing to be issued an FIA licence is studied by the FIA down to the finest detail through various simulation processes. There is for instance a very careful assessment of the consistency of the curve trajectory, the deceleration zones and the impact-absorbing trackside protection with the safety levels required by the FIA standards. Once the circuit is built, a very thorough verification of the safety level of the track is performed by an FIA inspector before an FIA licence can be issued. The certification of a circuit device requires that the relevant tests be performed at an FIA-approved test laboratory and that the test report and certification be submitted to the FIA. The application is submitted to the ASN (National Sporting National Authority) of the country where the product is located. (ASN), ASN is verified and submitted to FIA Circuits Division for approval. The Certificate of Circuits is valid for 5 years.
